M51 Galaxy

was the first Galaxy
classified as Spiral type
even though it is a Dwarf.
It is visible with binoculars
23 million Lightyears away
in Hunting Dogs constellation.
The first confirmed
extragalactic exoplanet was
found orbiting a large star in
NGC 5194 (M51) that is similar
in size and shape
to Saturn.
Proof that planets,
and possibly even Life
may exist outside of
our own Galaxy.
