starburst phase Galaxies whose
collision is accelerating the
formation of new stars.
Over the next 500 million years
the two galaxies will become
one large elliptical galaxy.
Within its many star clusters
are large clouds of gas and dust
that contain all of the necessary
elements for the formation of planets

that can sustain life.
