Far Out!
This free floating field galaxy is a younger example of a spiral-arm type. It is located at the edge of the darkest region in known space called The Local Void. Looking beyond Draco from Earth there is a large region of space (150-200 million lightyears across) that is desolate, containing far fewer Galaxies and overall matter than most observable space. Because NGC 6503 is drifting outside the gravitational influence of its neighboring galaxies, it may just be slowly making its way further into the unknown and has been nicknamed the "Lost in Space Galaxy".
